Once AIEEE 2012 exam is over AIEEE score card is declared online by CBSE Board of Education. The opening and closing AIEEE ranks of AIEEE colleges is declared based on All India quota, Home State quota, and ST/SC/OBC quota.

AIEEE cut off for top AIEEE colleges such as NIITs and IIITs is usually higher than other AIEEE colleges. Find below detail of AIEEE cut off in 2009:

In AIEEE 2009, the number of questions decreased from 35 to 30 per section as compared to 2008. The total Marks was 432. In each section there were 24 questions of 4 marks each and 6 questions of 8 mark each. The 8 mark questions had -2 marks for incorrect answer while the 4 mark questions had -1.

AIEEE is required for admission in engineering and architecture courses throughout most of the leading engineering institutes across the country. AIEEE is organised for undergraduate students aiming to get admission in national level institutes like NITs, IITs and other prominent universities and institutions for Undergraduate Engineering Courses & Architecture programmes.

AIEEE Application Form

Many students submit AIEEE form every year to appear in exam. AIEEE application form can be submitted online or on prescribed AIEEE application form only. AIEEE 2013 form will be distributed from the beginning of the month of December. Students can collect AIEEE form from the different centers mainly in various Syndicate banks in various parts of the country. AIEEE 2013 form is expected to be available till first week of January in designated branches of Syndicate bank, CBSE Regional Offices and certain institutions. Candidates can also request AIEEE application form by sending a demand draft to AIEEE Unit, CBSE. All leading national dailies would carry the notification for the availability of AIEEE online form.

AIEEE Online Application Forms 2013

Candidates also have the option for AIEEE online form which can be filled and sent to AIEEE office. AIEEE form can be downloaded from the AIEEE Official website. The candidates should provide the required information for the form submission. On submission of details, a Confirmation page will appear. The confirmation page would carry the Registration number. Candidates need to take a printout, paste photographs, put left hand thumb impression and sign in the space marked for signature. AIEEE form download for AIEEE 2013 will be available in December. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to CBSE and payment can be made via credit card or Demand Draft from any scheduled commercial bank. Candidates submitting AIEEE online form must retain a photocopy of Confirmation Page with Registration No. and Copy of mode of remittance of Examination fee in case of future correspondence.

Changes in CBSE Syllabus

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam required for admission to the post graduate management courses throughout various management institutes in the country. It is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). Through MAT Exam, management aspirants can get admission in to a very large number of management institutes throughout the country. MAT 2012 Exam – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to MAT colleges, the minimum eligibility criterion is graduation in any discipline from recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. MAT 2012 Exam – Registration, Pattern, Important Dates, Results

MAT 2012 is an entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to the post graduate management courses throughout various management institutes in the country.MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is approved as National Entrance Test for the admission in to MBA and equivalent programs under the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. MAT 2012 is conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. While MAT SEP 2012 results have been announced, DEC MAT 2012 registration process is ongoing for MAT Dec 2012 aspirants.

MAT 2012 Registration

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MAT colleges is graduation in any discipline from recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. Students who are in the final year of graduation can also appear provisionally. However, each MAT college has its own minimum percentage requirement in graduation. The minimum percentage requirement for MAT colleges can be checked on the prospectus of the particular MIs/University. For MAT Dec 2012 registration, there will usually be three modes to obtain MAT application form . Candidates can obtain Bulletin with MAT Dec 2012 form against cash payment of Rs 1200/- from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed Study Centers of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi or you can also do MAT registration online at website www.aima-ind.org/mat.aspx along with the payment by Demand Draft/Credit Card. MAT Dec 2012 Pattern

AIMA MAT 2012 Exam will be objective type test . The duration of test is 150 minutes. The MAT Dec 2012 will have five sections with 40 questions in each section. Dec MAT 2012 consists of following sections :

Data Analysis & Sufficiency
Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
Indian & Global Environment

MAT Result 2012

MAT 2012 results for Feb, May and Sep are available on AIMA website. MAT result for Feb MAT 2011 is available soon on AIMA website. To access Feb MAT 2012 results, students will need to enter form number and roll number. The Score Card for AIMA 2012 SEP MAT Exam will also be available on the AIMA website. Candidate will need 6 digits MAT Registration Form Number and 9 digits Roll NO from AIMA website to download MAT results card. Individual copy of AIMA MAT result Card with photograph is also sent under Postal Certificate (UPC) at the address given on the MAT Registration Form.

AIMA Admit Card

All provisionally registered candidates can down load their MAT Admit Card from AIMA website 7 days before the Paper Based test date. Specific MAT Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. AIMA Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No, Roll NO, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Test.

XAT essay is an important part of the XAT examination. Essay writing has been a part of the XAT exam for many years. After a small gap of 10 minutes after the written exam, 20 minutes time is allotted to the candidates for writing a small essay on the given topic. There is no word limit mentioned, but an essay of 350-400 words is more than sufficient. Anyways its not about the length of the essay, but about the quality of content.

How to Write a Good XAT Essay

Candidates taking the XAT exam often have queries about what kind of essay is expected by the examiners. While the general perception is that the essay writing is all about testing a candidates writing skills and hold on the English language, the reality may be far from this. Definitely, decent writing skills are expected, but more than writing skills and testing the English or grammar, XAT essay writing round is to test how well a particular candidate is able to comprehend and make sense of his/her surroundings.

XAT essay tests the candidates on their awareness and understanding of the world current affairs. It tests the comprehension of the things and the ability to make sense and analyze different aspects to everything happening around. More than structuring the points and examiner is looking for a candidates ability and skill to structure his/her thoughts and opinions. A candidate should be able to put across strong and powerful points and justify his or her opinion with good real life examples.

Tips for Writing a Good XAT Essay

Always read the instructions carefully before starting with essay writing.

Understand the topic and take a minute to jot down the points you want to touch upon.
Do not work with all the ideas together, take up each point one by one.
Allot time for each point to be covered.
Keep your explanations simple, crisp and clear. Avoid explaining too much.
Re-emphasize your points with relevant and well known examples. This would further prove your ability to comprehend and relate things happening around you.
Justify all that you say, clearly and properly.
Do not make the essay too lengthy or verbose. Be simple as far as possible.
Try to bring up different, but relevant points.
The examiner would evaluate a number of articles with similar points, try to be experimental with the tone of the essay.
Making a list of pointers is helpful in making the important points easily visible and also makes the presentation neat.

XAT Essay Topics

Topics for XAT essay have been broadly of two kinds. One is the topics related to the current affairs. Such topics need candidates to be updated on current affairs and happening around the world. For such essay topics candidates also need to understand various aspects of the topic.
