WBJEE board conducts entrance examination for admission to engineering colleges of the state of West Bengal. Students aspiring to get admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering/Technology/ Medical/Dental and Pharmacy in Universities/Colleges in West Bengal and B. Arch Course in Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur and Jadavpur University have to appear for
WBJEE Entrance Exam.
WBJEE Forms 2013
WBJEE forms may be obtained in following ways:
- From designated branches of United Bank of India.
- By post from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board.
To obtain
WBJEE forms by post, candidate will be required to send a Demand Draft for payment along with the form request. The form should be completely filled and then has to be sent by Speed Post. The tentative dates for
WBJEE 2013 based on previous year
WBJEE 2012 dates follow as:
- WBJEE 2013 Entrance Examination Date: Mid April, 2013
- Availability of WBJEE Forms 2013: End November/December 2012
- The last Date for submission of completed WBJEE forms: Mid January, 2013
WBJEE Results 2013 is likely to be declared in the month of May, 2013. Students can check
WB JEE results on the official website – http://www.wbjeeb.in.
WBJEE result can be downloaded after they are available on website. The students get admission to the State Colleges on the basis of
WB JEE results of a single competitive examination. In order to check
WBJEE 2013 result, students will have to enter enrollment no in the form provided. Every year a large number of candidates from the state of West Bengal appear for
WBJEE for admission. However, the exam is not tough like other exams. Since the exam contains papers on Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, students should have deep knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biology to crack this exam and hence get good
WB JEE results.
WBJEE 2013 Counselling
WBJEE counselling is done after the results are announced for admission to
WBJEE colleges. After the entrance exam
WBJEE 2013, WBJEE 2013 Counseling Rank will be declared. The counseling is conducted in three phases First Phase, Second Phase and Third Phase. This is subject to availability of suitable no. of merit listed candidates after the first and second phase of counseling. Generally the counseling process starts in the month of July after the exam. In
WBJEE 2013 Counselling, the first phase counseling was up to
WBJEE General Rank 60,000. In
WBJEE 2013 Counseling procedure, the candidate who sought allotment of seat when reporting for counseling had the option to register as a wait listed candidate for next phase of counseling if he/she does not accept the seat allotment in any university available at the time of current
WBJEE counselling phase. The students also have to pay
WBJEE Counselling fee in the form of Bank draft or Pay Order.
